Jaime Jamgochian Nashville, TN (February 26, 2008) ---- Artist-Worshiper, Jaime Jamgochian, is set to release her sophomore project, Above The Noise, February 26th. The project was co-produced by Nathan Nockels (Point of Grace, Matt Redman), Jeff Thomas (Matt Mahr), and Matt Stanfield (Jill Phillips, The Sift). Jamgochian co-wrote seven of the twelve songs on the project with additional tunes contributed by Nichole Nordeman, Matt Maher, and Michael Gungor to name a few.

Above The Noise showcases Jamgochian’s talents in a new light with a more contemporary feel to the music and deeper, more meaningful lyrics. Producer Nockels helped to bring new depth to Jamgochian as she says he challenged her vocally. “I felt Nathan really got my heart, not just the lyrics and melodies, but really got inside the songs.”

The CD’s title comes from the song “For You” that is a heartfelt worship anthem that acknowledges the peace of total surrender. “Sing of Our God,” is an upbeat tune that celebrates the majesty of our creator. Nichole Nordeman’s contribution is “Heal The Wound” which deals with healing and redemption. “When I heard it, I just fell so in love with it,” says Jamgochian. “It’s one of my favorites on the new album. I feel so blessed to be recording one of Nichole’s songs. I think it’s going to be the perfect fit for the women’s events I do.”

Street week events are planned to help kick-off the release of Above The Noise. Jamgochian taped an appearance on Daystar TV’s “Celebration” program, performed at the national Girls of Grace event in Dallas that was sent via satellite to 200 churches across the country where Jamgochian will appear onstage with Point of Grace, and will visit radio stations in the Southwest and Midwest that will include a CD release show with KZKZ in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and KLVV in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Jamgochian is already getting great reaction to Above The Noise with the first single, “Sing Of Our God,” already at # 5 on the CRW Inspo chart and #13 on R&R Soft AC chart. Michael Grimm/KLJC, Kansas City, MO - “I sent this song to members of our staff here at the radio station, and I believe the following comment made by one of my female co-workers sums up the type of reaction I received: 'This song just works in every way! Love, love, LOVE it! I’d probably give it more than a 5 if I could.'" Dave Gordon/KXOJ, Tulsa, OK - "This song becomes familiar quickly. We added it in January and it has become a good sing-a-long." Larry Weidman/WGRC, Lewisburg, PA - "Jaime does a great job on a great song that clarifies our reason for singing! The good hooks don't hurt either!!"

Early reviews for Above The Noise is also earning early rave reviews. Beliefnet - “Above The Noise” is a great sophomore release from Jaime Jamgochian, making her an artist to watch.” GMC.com – “Make it a point to go to the music store on Feb. 26 to buy Jaime Jamgochian’s new album, Above The Noise, produced by Seattle-based Centricity Records, if only for track 4. For You makes Jamgochian’s sophomore project even better than her first record, Reason to Live. Yes, it even tops Hear My Worship, which lived on the charts for nine weeks.” More reviews are coming from Home Life Magazine (April), Charisma Magazine (May), Plugged In Magazine (March), ChristianMusicToday.com (February), Worship Leader Magazine (March/April). Upcoming interview features include CMCentral.com, All Access, Cross Point Magazine, and Home Life Magazine.
